Good Lavender, quick delivery

Ordered some Lavender plants. They arrived in about five days. Plants were healthy. No issues.

Got my Hydrangea quickly

Needed a new Hydrangea bush for my front yard. Found one here, ordered it up. It showed up pretty quick, like, maybe 5 days? The plant looked good when I unpacked it. No complaints from me.

Overall good, delivery a bit slow

I bought a Meyer Lemon Tree and it arrived in good shape. The plant looked healthy and the packaging protected it well during transit. My main feedback would be that the delivery took a bit longer than I expected, about 8 days, but it wasn't a huge deal since the plant was fine. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping status. I value the plant quality and that it arrived alive, but quicker shipping would make it even better for future orders.

Consistent quality, reliable service

This is my third or fourth order from Plants by Mail, and they're always reliable. This time I got a couple of Knock Out Roses. My first purchase was a Japanese Maple a couple of years ago, and that's still thriving. The packaging is consistently good, plants always arrive in healthy condition, and shipping times are pretty predictable. It's why I keep coming back instead of bothering with local nurseries that often have limited stock. They make it easy to get what you need without fuss.

Healthy plant, careful packaging

I ordered an Encore Azalea from here last month. The ordering process on the website was pretty straightforward, found the plant I wanted quickly. Shipping took about 6 days to reach me in Arizona, which seemed reasonable for a live plant. It arrived well-packaged in a sturdy box, and the plant itself was very healthy with good soil moisture. I had a small question about initial watering, so I emailed their support. They got back to me the next day with clear instructions. The azalea is doing great in its new spot. Really happy with the quality and how they handled everything from purchase to delivery.

My Knock Out Roses took about a week, but it was during a big sale. So maybe a bit slower then.

Yeah, they're real. Got some Encore Azaleas and they're doing great. Their website looks a bit old school but the plants are fine.

How are the plants packaged for shipping from Plants by Mail?

M MeenaDas 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Honestly, pretty good. They use a lot of shredded paper and tape the pots down. My azaleas arrived without a leaf out of place.

My last order had one slightly squished box but the plant inside was fine. So, mostly good.

Anyone had a plant arrive dead from Plants by Mail? What's the guarantee like?

S ShaliniVerma 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
One of my hydrangeas looked really sad, almost dead. I contacted them with pictures and they sent a replacement, no questions asked. Took about a week for the new one to arrive.

Are the Southern Living plants from Plants by Mail really good quality?

I got some 'October Magic Ruby' Camellias from their Southern Living collection. They were small but super healthy and took off quickly once planted. Very impressed.
